Dmistocks is owned and operated by DMIDEVELOPERS LTD, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 8916456), with its registered office at Abuja, Nigeria. DMIDEVELOPERS LTD builds and operates business software; Dmistocks is its inventory, point-of-sale and accounting product, sold as a subscription and delivered over the web at dmistocks.com.

What Dmistocks does

It keeps three things in step that most businesses keep apart: what is in stock, what was sold, and what the books say. A sale rung up at the till reduces stock, moves the customer's balance and writes its own double-entry accounting record from the one action, so the figures a business reports are the figures it traded.

Around that sit the parts a working shop needs: purchase orders and goods receipts, supplier bills and payments, stock counts and transfers between branches, customer credit and statements, expenses, and the reports — profit and loss, balance sheet, stock valuation, debtor ageing — that answer for all of it.

Who it is for

Retail and distribution businesses in Nigeria: shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, building-material merchants and distributors with sales agents in the field. It is built for the conditions those businesses actually work in — prices in naira, part-cash and part-transfer payments on a single sale, credit customers, and staff who need to be trusted with a till but not with the margins.
